From 1988-1992, Mr. Jacobus was employed by Cargill Financial Services Corporation ("Cargill") as a trader on the fixed income desk. While at Cargill, he played an integral part in the development of and trading of the Non-Dollar Bond and Municipal books. Mr. Jacobus joined Eagle Capital Management, Inc. ("Eagle") as Global Fixed Income Manager and Principal in 1992. In 1994, he became Vice President/Treasurer and a shareholder of Eagle. While at Eagle, Mr. Jacobus managed the Global Sovereign Debt desk as well as the Municipal Arbitrage Desk. From 1998 until June 2001, Mr. Jacobus was employed by Delphi Financial Group as a Senior Investment Officer overseeing approximately $3 billion in assets while actively trading the Municipal position. In early 2001, Mr. Jacobus became a founding Principal of Alternative Strategy Advisers LLC. Mr. Jacobus also has experience as a floor trader on the New York Futures Exchange. Mr. Jacobus graduated from Dartmouth College in 1987 with a B. A. in Economics and Mathematics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has completed a Masters in Applied Mathematics (M.S.) from the University of Minnesota.
